Sleep Tracking Kit

Sometimes falling asleep (or staying asleep) is hard! You've tried different things here and there, but you just can't pinpoint what it is that is disrupting your sleep. The solution is here! The Sleep Tracking Kit.

I want to give you my sleep tracking kit absolutely free. Let me give you a breakdown of what's in the kit:

Sleep Tracking Grid

The 4-Week Sleep Tracking Grid.

The grid covers 4 weeks of sleeping, and is broken down by 30 min increments. Each "day" starts at noon. The reason for this is that most people will sleep at night. You are going to want to see your night time sleep habits in one chunk; not broken up like a midnight-midnight "day" would show.

You are going to fill in the blocks where you sleep. After a week, or 2, or 4, you will see very specific patterns. Use this information to make adjustments to improve you sleep. Or take it to a sleep professional. Or email me at jason@thesleephygienist.com (or just hit reply). I'll look at it and give you my analysis.

Don't worry if this sounds confusing. There are more directions in the file itself. And once you have done it for a day or two, it's pretty self-explanatory.

Additionally, I have provided this grid in two sizes. The legal paper size is easier to read and doesn't feel as squished. However, if you only have letter sized paper (8.5 x 11), then there is a version of that, too.

The Sleep Diary.

To add to the sleep tracking, fill out the Sleep Diary every day. You will quickly see that there is a LOT more information being asked of you to track. The more in-depth you get with this, the more information you'll have to recognize patterns. This all comes together to give you CONTROL over the factors that affect your sleep.

Like the 4-week Sleep Tracking Grid, use the information in the Sleep Diary to make adjustments to improve you sleep.

Or take it to a sleep professional.

Or email me at jason@thesleephygienist.com (or just hit reply). I'll look at it and give you my analysis.

My recommendation is to use both the Sleep Diary and the Tracking Grid together. However, just using one will still enlighten you to patterns that will be useful.

The 'Get Ready for Sleep' Daily Checklist.

This checklist is a quick and easy way to remember what you should be doing, both at bedtime and during the day, in order to ensure you sleep well at night. Of the three tools in the Sleep Tracking Kit, this is the easiest one to use.

If the Diary and the Tracking Grid are too involved for you, no worries! Just keep this checklist handy, and follow it as your day progresses. It's that easy!
